Ciononostante, la gravosità della partenza era mitigata dall'ambiente brullo che si erano lasciati alle spalle e dall'idea del viaggio che stavano intraprendendo. Chissà cosa avrebbero visto, fino a dove si sarebbero spinti.
L'avventura e l'idea che da loro sarebbe nato un nuovo futuro animavano lo spirito di tutto il gruppo.
